Campgrounds
Centennial Park and Campground
This lakeside park at the south end of town has 44 serviced and unserviced sites on a first come, first served basis, with full washroom and shower facilities, sani-dump, covered barbeque pit, boat launch, marina, raft, roped-off swimming area, and a large children’s playground. Equipment for bocce, badminton and volleyball can be borrowed for free from the campsite attendant.
Silverton Municipal Campground
This lakeside campground is at the foot of Leadville Street and has five sites on the lake and 10 sites adjacent to it. New wheelchair-accessible washrooms and shower facilities. The campground is primarily for tents and small camper units. Larger units such as RVs and trailers are encouraged to use the Creekside campground on Silverton Creek, one block east of the main campground. Creekside works well for large groups and campers with pets. A ball diamond, children’s playground, tennis courts and bocce pits are close by.

Springer Creek Campground and RV Park
28 small lakeside sites, full and partial hookups. Tenting, sani-dump, washrooms with showers, seasonal tourist info, pets on leash.

Wragge Beach
At the north end of Slocan Lake near Hills, Wragge Beach is a popular camping spot with 13 small sites. It’s heavily used during the summer and has a narrow access road.
Rosebery Provincial Park
Rosebery Provincial Park is a campground located in Rosebery, six kilometers north of New Denver. This 32-hectare park by Wilson Creek has 33 campsites accessible by vehicle, six for larger RVs. Open early May to mid September. No reservations available.
Summit Lake Provincial Park
This small (6 ha) roadside park on Summit Lake has 34 small, shady campsites . Good trout fishing, swimming and paddling in the lake. Mountain goats are often seen on rocky outcroppings and in late summer thousands of western toads rise out of the lake and migrate across the highway to wintering grounds. Shorebirds, waterbirds, raptors and kingfishers may be seen. Summit Lake is a 20-minute drive north of New Denver.
