Slocan District Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre co-locates with the Silvery Slocan Museum in a beautiful 1896 heritage building—the province’s first Bank of Montreal. Friendly Visitor Centre staff will give you information about what to see, where to stay and where to eat.
Open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from May long weekend until Canada Day (July 1), then 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day until Labour Day (first Monday in September). Open again for Garlic Festival weekend, the weekend following Labour Day.

At the flashing light in New Denver (intersection of Hwys 31A and 6), turn towards the lake (west) and go three blocks.
